What are the system requirements to run Mirroring360?

  • iTunes or Bonjour Print Services for Windows
  • PC computers running Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1
  • Mac computers running OS X Lion (10.7), Mountain Lion (10.8), Mavericks (10.9)
  • Internet connection for activation. Wifi or Ad-hoc for running mirroring.
  • Get Mirroring360 app here

Which iOS devices are supported? Does it support Mirroring mode?

Yes. Mirroring is supported by Mirroring360. Make sure that you own a mirroring capable device such as:

  • iPhone (4s or later)
  • iPad 2 or later
  • iPad mini or later
  • iPod touch (5th generation)

How do I start mirroring on iOS 7?

On iOS 7 devices:

  1. Connect your iOS device and your computer running Mirroring360 to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access Control Center. Tap the AirPlay button.
  3. Tap the name of the computer that you wish to AirPlay to, and turn “Mirroring” On. You can find the name (or rename) the name of your computer on the Mirroring360 application on your computer, under the “General” tab.

How do I start mirroring on iOS 6?

On iOS 6 devices:

  1. Connect your iOS device and your computer running Mirroring360 to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Double-tap the Home button and you should see the apps that you recently ran.
  3. Swipe the recently ran apps from left to right until you see the AirPlay button. Tap the AirPlay button
  4. Tap the name of your computer that you wish to Airplay to,and turn Mirroring On.

Do you have Mirroring360 for Mac’s?

We are currently testing it in our labs and we plan to release it to the public in the coming few weeks.

Do I need any apps on my iOS device?

AirPlay Mirroring is already built-in to the iOS devices. There is no need to download any apps on your iOS device.

Can I get 1080p resolution?

Yes it is possible, but with the following requirements:

  1. a device with iOS6 or later
  2. a powerful computer that supports 1080p (Intel i5 or more powerful)



To set to 1080p resolution, launch Mirroring360 application > Settings, click the Advanced tab, set ‘Resolution’ to ‘1080p (1920 x 1080)’.

Can I AirPlay Mirroring my Mac to Mirroring360?

For most systems that we tested, yes. But we do not advertise this because we have not done a wide range of testing.

Am I able to mirror DRM protected content like itunes movie rentals?

Most movie rentals are DRM protected and cannot be mirrored.


Why do I need an account to purchase?

Your account gives you manageability to purchased license keys as well as view your payment history.

Sometimes unable to find the computer that I want to mirror to

When this occurs, please wait for about 30 seconds for the the computer to be discoverable. Alternatively, go to the system tray, right-click on the app; select settings, then click “OK” – this will make the computer discoverable again.

I have installed iTunes but whenever I try to launch Mirroring360, it warns me that I need to install iTunes or Bonjour Print Services for Windows before I can use Mirroring360.

It’s likely that the Bonjour services may not be up and running. Please go to Windows Task Manager -> Services -> Services, and make sure the status on Bonjour Service is ‘Started’. If not, simply restart it.

I received a Network 12029 error when I tried to activate Mirroring360.

You are receiving this error because you are likely to be in a managed network with restricted Internet access and uses a proxy server. Ask the network administrator to allow access to m360.api.splashtop.com so you can activate your Mirroring360 application. Or activate your Mirroring360 application using a direct Internet access.

Troubleshooting

Unable to support (push) videos when playback in full screen mode with the embedded video player

We are working on resolving this issue. Please stay tuned for our updates. For iPads, you can use Safari to playback and mirror the youtube videos and other embedded videos.
